Reject Apparel

This project is a self led branding concept for a punk rock inspired clothing brand that incorporates expressive typography across clothing and packaging.

The Challenge:

Create the visual identity of a punk rock inspired clothing brand and apply it across shirt and package designs.

The Concept:

Reject incorporates a dynamic, fluid brand identity through gritty, expressive typography, slogans, and colors to capture the brand’s values: free thinking, confidence, and questioning the status quo.

The Process - Sketches and Early Concepts

With the brand’s original concept already established beforehand, its visual identity was expanded upon through a signature type pairing and original slogans for each shirt design. A brand moodboard helped inform decision making moving forward.

The Process - Iterations

Graphics for both t-shirts and packages were created using digitally distorted type. Original slogans were written, scanned, and distressed, and then applied to mockups.
